Our whole team is honored to have a web series that so many people want to be a part of, and although we are not hiring there are multiple ways to get involved with the show. If you want to be on the show, then we most certainly want you on the show IF we can place you on an episode that makes sense for us all. Here are 4 ways we hope you will get involved:
1. Be a guest.
Before sending a message or calling one of the producers to inquire about being on the show, try to understand that we’ve developed a process for accepting guests and it starts with filling out our guest application.
I suggest even before filling out the application watching 3 or 4 episodes. If you haven’t already done so, watching will help you understand what the show is about and how (and if) you want to align it with your brand. This is critical because we expect our guests to promote the shows they are in and invite their friends and family to be a part of our live studio audience. If this is not something you feel comfortable with and excited about, then this might not be the show for you.
Your application never expires, so you only need one. We are always looking for content experts to help us explore community-building more deeply. Once a show’s topic and panel questions are written, I usually dig through the applications to see who in our community can help us expand on the topic in an authentic and informative way. You can also sign up to receive alerts when we are looking for guests for a specific topic.
Be mindful that The Asheville View itself is about raising voices, NOT promoting businesses. When you see a guest on our show promoting their product, it is through paid advertising.
2. Become A FAV.
Love the show? Without shows like The Asheville View, important stories or issues might never be raised to the forefront. You can help hold space for the hosts by making a pledge to the show. You will be supporting our amazing cast and crew as we bring you the very best show possible. Our show depends on you!
Our FAVs
- get shouted out on Facebook,
- are the first to get updates on special features and products,
- and receive an Asheville View mug.
3. Advertise your product or service on our show.
Our advertising slots start as low as $300.00. Advertising is what will make the show more sustainable, and it is the best way to market your product or service.
4. Come and be a part of our live studio audience.
Our live audience is a key component of the show, and we’d love to have you. If you are at the show, there is a good chance you will be seen on the show and on our social media channels. Find out when our next show is and get your tickets on our live show page.
