Preservers, Innovators, and Rescuers of Culture in Chiapas showcases eleven stunning textiles by Indigenous artisans from Chiapas, Mexico. Created under the guidance of US-based artist Aram Han Sifuentes and on display at the Center for Craft, this exhibition, supported by the 2022 Craft Research Fund Artist Fellowship, delves into the profound role of these artisans as culture preservers, rescuers, and innovators. The exhibit runs through July 13, 2024.
