About The Asheville View

”The Asheville View” is a weekly daytime-style talk show hosted by Aisha Adams, Myriam Weber and Kirby Winner w/special correspondent Dr. Sharon Norling. In the opening segment, the hosts offer their personal take on ”Hot Button” issues. Afterward, Dr. Norling responds to health questions in the Ask The Doctor segment. In the second half of the show, the hosts interview various celebrity guests. Known for their edgy content, style and witty banter the show hosts share the grit of all things about Health, Wealth, Family and Equity in Asheville. New episodes are posted every Monday.

Where is the live show?

The live show is taped at THE BLOCK off biltmore, 39 S Market St, Asheville, NC 28801.

When should I arrive?

Morning Show: Doors open at 9AM and brunch is served. Please be in your seat by 9:45AM. If you are not in your seat by 9:45AM you will have to remain outside the show room until a mini break or intermission.

Are tickets free?

While tickets are free, there is a minimum $5 food and drink order required at the door for entry. You can save time by pre-ordering. Check out the menu!

Will I need to bring identification?

A signed media release form is required for entry. You will need to bring your photo ID to verify that the name on the form belongs to you. And of course, your ID is needed for drinks!

Can I take pictures or record the show on my phone?

Photography and recorded video of any kind is strictly prohibited. Please turn off your phone when you arrive at your seat for each episode. You will have an opportunity at the end of the show to take photos.

This is a talk show. Can I talk in the audience?

During the recording of the show please feel free to smile, laugh, and offer light applause. Otherwise no talking.

I want to meet the hosts, Dr. Norling, and the special guests.

Please do not engage panel members of TAV, Dr. Sharon Norling, or special guests of TAV, until the conclusion of the morning show and the conclusion of the afternoon show. There are two episodes filmed per show.

Will I be recorded?

As a studio audience you are part of the show. There is a chance that you will appear in recorded footage during the show. Smile! An electronic media release form will be sent to the email addressed used to order your ticket. You will also have an opportunity to sign at the door. Admittance will not be allowed without your signed form. Please follow all instructions from the producer and director. Failure to follow instructions could result in removal from the studio audience.

 Can I get up during the show?

During the recording of each episode it is strictly prohibited to leave your seat. Each recorded segment in an episode lasts 15 to 30 minutes. If you need to leave your seat during an episode the video director will let the entire audience know when you can leave, which will be between recording segments. However, you will not be able to return to your seat for that episode. The following is the approximate time of recorded segments for each episode.
